The Army has extended the time line for industry to respond to its solicitation for the next version of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program.

Late Thursday, the service posted an amendment to the original request for proposals for LOGCAP V, published Nov. 20.

Vendors now have until Feb. 12 to submit proposals to the Army for the massive logistics contract, which is worth up to $82 billion.

The projected award date has also been delayed from Sept. 13 to Oct. 10.

Structured as an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, LOGCAP V would have a five-year initial ordering period, running from Oct. 10, 2018 to Oct. 9, 2023. These could be followed by five one-year options.

Additionally, the contract includes task orders for setting the theater. The base year for these runs from Oct. 10, 2018 to Oct. 9, 2019, followed by nine option years.
