Fluor Aims To Drop Afghanistan Contractor Overtime Suit

Law360, Dallas (May 11, 2017, 7:48 PM EDT) — Fluor Corp. on Thursday asked a Texas federal judge to dismiss a putative class action from contractors who claim they weren’t paid overtime in violation of Afghanistan labor law, arguing the country’s labor code doesn’t apply to employees of U.S. contractors.
