Iraq Police Training Contract – Criminal Prosecution

Former DynCorp employee Wesley Struble pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Anti-Kickback Act for his involvement in a kickback scheme under the State Department’s CIVPOL Iraq police training contract. Struble and others, including another DynCorp employee, conspired to persuade DynCorp to pay inflated rent on its lease of Camp Butler II in Baghdad in 2011 and 2012—which was billed to the State Department—and then pocketed the excess profit. Struble was sentenced to four years in prison and ordered to pay $3.4 million in restitution.
